Economic & Community Development Strategies to Support Small, Downtown Communities

I am an experienced economic & community revitalization professional with a specialization in historic downtowns.

I love working in historic downtowns, but understand that small communities can lack the resources to invest in meaningful revitalization. Therefore, I offer fractional and hourly development services.

Partnering with local governments and mission-driven organizations to renew and revitalize communities, I can:

  • Help your community’s governing body discern and set its downtown’s direction.

  • Determine why old plans sat on the shelf, and reinvigorate those efforts with experienced, professional staffing.

  • Form partnerships to support projects and community outcomes, even in challenging environments.

  • Project manage economic & community development efforts to ensure ongoing effort without staffing costs.

  • Market the community as a location worthy of investment and commitment.

Building a Coherent Community

My Coherent Community approach combines physical revitalization around infrastructure and building stock and community programming for activation/engagement/empowerment. I help communities find the right partners, the right projects, and the right resources to become attractive places for people to live, work, and experience.
